Roots in monumental art
Born into a family of sacred art, Timofei’s creative journey began in the workshop of an iconographer and art restorer. This early exposure to the profound relationship between spirituality and visual expression would later become the cornerstone of his design philosophy.
From 2002, he studied under master iconographer A.V. Ponomarev and renowned painter F.B. Fedorov, absorbing the discipline and reverence for craftsmanship that defines his work today.
His formal education at the Ioganson Art School at the Academy of Arts (2006–2011) under the guidance of honored artist L.N. Kirillova culminated in receiving the prestigious Gold Medal from the Academy of Arts, presented by Z.K. Tsereteli.
He completed his artistic education at the Repin Academy of Arts, specializing in monumental art under A.K. Bystrov, mastering the ancient techniques of wall painting, mosaics, and stained glass.
From murals to interiors
The transition from traditional painting to interior design was organic, emerging through his work in decorative arts. As he created wall murals, stained glass windows, and mosaics for residential and commercial spaces, Timofei discovered his true calling: transforming entire environments into cohesive artistic statements.
This revelation led him to professional interior design in 2012, where he could apply his understanding of color, light, and spatial harmony on an architectural scale.

Design philosophy
Timofei’s approach to design is fundamentally rooted in his belief that interiors should be more than functional spaces — they should be sanctuaries that nurture the human spirit. Drawing inspiration from nature’s infinite palette, he incorporates organic forms, natural materials, and the interplay of light and shadow to create environments that feel both grounded and transcendent.
Each project is approached with what he calls “deep empathy”: an ability to understand not just what clients say they want, but who they truly are at their core.

Virtual Reality before you commit
What sets Timofei apart in the design world is his pioneering use of Virtual Reality technology. Clients can walk through their future homes before construction begins, experiencing the space’s emotional impact and making informed decisions about every detail.
This fusion of cutting-edge technology with traditional artistic principles exemplifies his ability to honor the past while embracing the future.
Scale of the work
Timofei has completed more than 350 design projects spanning over 8,000 square meters across Russia and the United States. Each project reflects his commitment to ergonomic excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and the transformative power of thoughtful design.
His work extends beyond individual projects to include educational initiatives through his design school, where he passes on his knowledge to the next generation of designers, ensuring that the principles of empathetic, nature-inspired design continue to evolve and flourish.
